Gulf Coast Inn

This motel is awesome! I've stayed at a lot of subpar places, but this one is fantastic. Clean surfaces, sheets, and property! The shower was nice, the beds were very comfortable, and the room comes with a full size fridge as well as a coffee maker! Zero cigarette smell in our non-smoking room and the staff was very nice and helpful! 12/10, thank y'all so much! Can't wait for next time!

When I made my reservation I was doing it based on the past reviews and taking a step in faith that this was a good place to come to. Wow am I so pleased I made my decision to come here. The location is great, the rooms are super clean, spacious and well appointed. Actually I was very surprised as to how well the Inn is kept. The grounds are in excellent condition. The pool is clean. It is a remarkable little boutique Inn / Motel that you're not expecting. What sets this place truly apart from other accommodations is the staff. The manager (Nikko) is brilliant and truly cares about the guest experience and he clearly loves his team. Every person I met that works at Gulf Coast Inn from the grounds person to housekeeping had happy dispositions and asked all the time, "Can I do anything for you?" - "Can I make your stay better?" This is the behavior and conduct of incredible customer service. It reminds me of what Customer Service was like back in the 70s and 80s. The team at Gulf Coast Inn truly wants every person that comes to the Gulf Coast Inn to have a great experience. I am a 64 year old individual who has traveled around our world over 50 plus times. I genuinely can't remember an experience like this since my early 20's.

Eddie's customer service was excellent, and he went above and beyond. Property had Pool and fire pit to enjoy. Rooms were clean and offered a microwave and refrigerator. Location was close to restaurants, grocery store, and a few gas stations. Also just a short drive to the beaches. Would absolutely return.

Very nice budge hotel. I stayed here for 2 nights and had a good stay. I do have mentioned my room didn't look much like the pictures on the website but wasn't bad either, it seems they were remodeled. Only 2 negative things was 1 the bed, the base it is metal so every time you move it has a squeaky sounds and r the second thing was that the room smells like humidity. I did enjoy how close of the shopping plaza near grocery store and restaurant PLUS they have the best breakfast restaurant in the US sharing the parking lot, they have next door a Waffle House. Other than this, very nice stayed.

We stayed here in July 2025. Location was perfect for us- next door to Waffle House (5 stars ) the pool was so much fun after a full day. Absolutely loved this roadside motel!! Everyone we encountered that worked at the facility were kind and professional. Will try to get back this summer!!

My family and I stayed at Gulf Coast Inn last weekend, and it honestly exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we checked in, the staff was welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. The rooms were spotless, the beds were super comfortable, and the atmosphere was just so relaxing perfect for a little getaway. One thing that really stood out during our stay was the maintenance man, Terry. He went above and beyond to make us feel at home. When our kids accidentally locked the bathroom door, Terry came right up and fixed it with a smile, chatting with them the whole time like they were old friends. Later, we found out he also helps in the kitchen — and let me tell you, the man can cook! The chicken he mad was the best I had in a long time. It’s rare to find a place where the staff genuinely cares about your experience, but this hotel definitely has that kind of energy. We left feeling refreshed, well-fed, and really appreciated. We’ll definitely be coming back — and hopefully we’ll see Terry again!

So this is a nice lil motel in a great location for the price. However there are 2 issues that folks really need to take into consideration. 1. The AC in the room is LOUD. I mean it's like a jet engine every 12 minutes. Makes it hard to sleep even if you are a heavy sleeper. 2. The outside of the room FLOODS when it rains. You literally cannot leave your room. Look at my pics. The long white parking block is completely submerged. To make it worse, they have sand bags right outside these rooms but the staff never puts them out. This tells me they know these rooms have flood issues.

Stayed there for 3 nights, and it was amazing. It was homey and cute, but very professional and super clean! Our room was fantastic, as well as the amenities. It's a PERFECT location, right next to a Waffle House, and near stores, restaurants, etc. And the beach was only a few minutes drive! We also loved the pool, and met some cool people there as well. Terry was awesome, he does maintenance there and does a damn good job. He was super friendly and made you feel at home and welcome. We will definitely be returning, and staying only at Gulf Coast Inn!
